Born in New Zealand, self-taught artist Tania Landers finds her Polynesian heritage instinctively inspires her art. Her artistic tutelage came under the guidance of her gifted parents. Her father, an accomplished musician and engineer, her mother a professional singer and dancer, performing was a family affair. She began her professional dancing career at 12 years old. By 17 she was recruited by the Walt Disney World company to perform for Disney’s Polynesian Review. Disney became her home for the next 20 years. As Tania moved from performance art to visual art, her artwork has been included in multiple group exhibitions, arts festivals and has gallery representation. Her art can be found in private collections across the United States, Puerto Rico, Italy and New Zealand. Discover more at www.tanialanders.com
