Patsy E. Lane was born in Konawa, Oklahoma, in what is known as the river bend, where she and her husband still have a cow/calf operation.
Because of this close connection to the river bend, it’s easy to see why she can say, “To see the forms take shape and the response to these creatures that evolve in bronze, feeds my soul.”
A Love of Outdoors
A love of the outdoors and its inhabitants has always been a part of Patsy and is reflected in her sculptures. Ordinary creatures doing things they do naturally as well as the wilder side of life depicted in their element.
Featured on OETA
Patsy was featured on the OETA (PBS) show “Gallery”, during 2004 and participates in shows both locally and nationally. She is a member of the Oklahoma Sculpture Society, Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors and Oklahoma Lady Artists.
